A seasoned sales executive with 17 years of sales and marketing experience. For the past 10 years I have been active in sales for the convention industry representing the Halifax Marriott Hotel and finally the Halifax World Trade & Convention Centre. I have had exposure to all markets in the industry and for the past three years my focus has been to grow the International congress market for Halifax. I develop relationships with local academics, researchers and business leaders with whom I partner to bid on and host international events in our community to help them achieve their goals. In turn, our success ensures the economic prosperity of Halifax and Nova Scotia.
