MPI's Dina Preston Band Invited by U.S. Embassy Budapest to Perform Concerts

The Dina Preston Band has been invited by the U.S. Embassy in Budapest to perform throughout Hungary from September 6-September 14, 2013 representing Arizona and the United States.

The goal of the tour is to expose Hungarian students and the broader public to authentic American music genre such as country, rock and blues. The band’s touring highlight includes a patriotic performance in Debrecen, Hungary to commemorate September 11. The band will also perform in Budapest, Eger and the city of Pecs.

The band’s lead singer, Dr. Dina Preston-Ortiz will also be lecturing at the University of the Arts, and various American Corners such as Corvinus University in Budapest in her field of expertise: global entrepreneurship, small business management, and marketing to support the U.S. State Department “Economic State Craft Initiative”. 

The American Corner in Budapest provides a window on the U.S. for Hungarian general public. Dr. Preston-Ortiz is a currently published in the Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture. She is a residential faculty at Paradise Valley Community College in the Business/IT Department.
As “Ambassadors of Goodwill” the Dina Preston Band has represented Arizona and the United States in over 40 countries through 20 world tours.
