Yes it's HUMP DAY! Woo Woo!
The day we all look forward to in the middle of the week to celebrate our upcoming week-end plans. What do we look forward to as a local chapter?
We certainly are not yet in the middle of our year (July1-July1) at GOAMPI, but when we get there, we as the Board of Directors need your measurement of how we are doing as a chapter.
To reiterate from the July blog, GOAMPI has re-defined our worth, our membership and our goals.
•“I want this……. In my neighborhood” Candy Chang – Keynote speaker at WEC. Designed out of a idea to improve a demolished area of New Orleans after Katrina. – Your president and President elect vow to apply this idea to our neighborhood of GOAMPI members.
•A good company is an advertisement 24/7 for itself” quoted from Nolan Bushnell who was the CEO of the Atari Company in the 1970s who hired Steve Jobs. So I asked myself, “ How good are we as GOAMPI for our members” ??
•We received our tools to tell our story – the story of our image change – NO LONGER shall we be perceived in any other way than a ½ BILLION dollar local chapter that breaks down to the following: 154 Planner Professionals worth $226 Million in Buying Power! 214 Partner Professionals that provides services in the Greater Orlando area of over $315 Million dollars to our economy!

2. Local education – 10 networking events 6 Educational luncheons 5 Coffee talks 4 special events and 2 annual conferences.
3. Connections – local opportunities to make new business or refer business to each other!
Accomplished:
1 FANTASTIC Southeastern Conference held in Amelia Island! Next year will be in South Florida at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa.
2 AWESOME Networking events hosted by Kings Bowling (July) and Whirly Dome (Sept).
Next week will be the KICK OFF to our Educational Series for the year! Come join us at the Nickelodeon Hotel for some "IDEA LEAPING" and a lot of fun for your meetings.

October gives our planners and partners the opportunity to come together for an all day learning session at the Renaissance Orlando Sea World. Complete with a Hybrid component for the members in our coastal areas! Watch for more Hybrid content with streaming technology throughout the year!
