In my experience, meetings and events do well here because we are not an overdone destination and offer a tremendous amount of affordable luxury.
While it is true our guests will likely make one-stop to get here, once they arrive they will not spend time with longs waits for luggage, cab lines, expensive fare or long commutes. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is only a few miles door to door to most Reno hotels and the Grand Sierra Resort offers a complimentary shuttle throughout the day.

In addition to the abundance of activities to enjoy in our hotels (bowling, thrill rides, fine dining, driving range, virtual golf, two-screen movie theater, spa.....all under one roof at the Grand Sierra), guests find themselves taking the opportunity to enjoy the Sierra Nevada area as well. From Virginian City (most of the city is a national landmark) to Lake Tahoe, The Downtown River and Arts District to fantastic shopping --- this region offers more than most are aware (we aim to change that)!!
