Meeting and Event Executives

Hi Everyone - 
Our Association uses Eventbrite for event registration and they've recently made some updates to their registration experience where required questions are not really required anymore. Once someone registers they can put their name, and email and click "Register," and it says "Order Successful." Then it takes you to another screen where the required questions are. If an attendee navigates away from this page without filling it out, their information shows up to us as incomplete until the attendee navigates back to the page to finalize the questions. 

This has created a challenge for us and we've begun looking at other platforms for our event registration. We host mainly stand alone one day events (no multi day conferences). We're looking for a platform that allows us to capture Name, Email and Company and then allows us to ask specific event related questions that are required before registration is successful. 

Does anyone have an event registration platform that you recommend? Has anyone used Eventbrite previously and switched to another platform that has similar features but a better user experience? I would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

Hi Brent,

This sounds like a very interesting change they made. 

We use Cadmium for registration which certainly allows for required questions and offers many ways to customize.  We've used it for many years now and its worked well.  Happy to connect you with our internal liaison if that would be helpful. 

We use several of their offerings beyond registration as well if this is of interest (sponsorship and exhibitor selection portal, speaker management, etc.)
