Hello MPI colleagues! I'm looking for experience shares on how you manage sell-out and capacity for your larger conferences? We host an annual conference in the ~2,000 range. Our process for managing sellout and then backfilling cancellations feels like it could/should be simpler. Does anyone have a formula that works or a process that you love? Do you always oversell by a certain % to avoid the challenge of backfilling? But how do you safe guard yourself against actually overflowing your physical capacity and/or budget? Looking forward to learning any tips and tricks you all have found!
