Chapter and Membership Advisory Council (CMAC)

Hi All, 

Thank you for today's Chapters and Policies call.  Currently we are working on a Chapter Admin Training and are creating a taskforce.  Thank you to Melissa, Liz, Nicole, Emilie, Lutricia and Molly who have already agree to serve on this taskforce.  If you are interested in joining the taskforce, please email me directly (Elizabeth.McKenna@...).  The taskforce meeting will be on March 27th at 11am EST.  We also have a general CMAC Chapters and Policies call scheduled for April 3rd at 11am EST to discuss the WEC Chapter Challenge and ideas on how to revamp this program.  I will be sending invites out later today.  Attached is the agenda from todays call.

Recap from todays call on the Chapter Admin Training:

• Create a forum  just for chapter admins to hold discussions and ask questions
  • MPI Global could post updates here for admins as well
• Create a breakout or admin track during CLS to train admins (record for those who are not able to attend)
  • Have 3-5 questions at the end for them to answer to make sure they attended
  • Have someone live facilitate this training during CLS
• Work with 3-4 admins on creating a list of what the training should include as a suggestion for global
  • MPI specific only training - QuickBooks, policies, key dates
  • We have identified who this small group of admins is and I will be reaching out to them once our doc is built out
• Possibly work on building a chapter admin list for struggling chapters
• It was suggested by the group to create a job description and/or list of specific standards for chapter admin (possible draft basic RPF)

We will be providing suggestion for this training to MPI global who will be building out the program.  Keep in mind, we want to keep it to MPI and not a general admin training.  Here is a link to a working document where you can input your suggestion/topics in to be reviewed on the next call by the Chapter Admin Training Taskforce.
