Kathryn has been the Event Planner for the NCAFP since 2006. In her role, she manages and oversees meeting logistics for two annual CME conferences as well as other various training seminars and workshops. She serves as the primary contact and program coordinator for key event logistics including preliminary site-inspections, initial hotel proposals, meeting room setups, food and beverage functions, audio visual requirements and contracted service providers, room block management and layouts for specialized areas and exhibit halls.
Kathryn also develops conference brochure information and event collateral, maintains paper and online conference registrations and attendee correspondence, provides conference website updates, develops e-marketing messages and maintains guest speaker logistics. She also produces a course syllabus, a mobile conference app, a course evaluation and a post conference summary for each program.
Kathryn's largest event is an annual four day CME conference. The annual program typically consists of over 750 attendees, 95+ exhibitors, 35+ speakers, an awards lunch, a presidential installation lunch, three board meetings, various council meetings, private receptions, several workshops and seminars, daily general session agendas, a silent auction and a presidential gala.
