Louise leads a team to deliver conference management for a non-profit association, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Prior to joining the Royal College, she planned educational programs for the Parliamentary Centre and the Institute for Research on Public Policy. She has vast experience supporting the strategic and tactical levels of event management including leadership, project management, financial management, educational program management and logistics. Louise has been a member of the MPI community for over 25 years, where she has volunteered for many Ottawa Chapter committees and served on the MPI Ottawa Board as Director of Community Outreach, Director of Leadership, VP of Education and President. She has also served on the MPI International Leadership Committee, as the Canadian representative on the MPI International Board of Directors, the MPI Canadian Advisory Council and MPI Principles of Professionalism Task Force. She has attained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and the Certified Meeting Management (CMM). Louise also completed Event Leadership Institute's Pandemic Meeting & Event Design in 2021 and Advanced Design & Strategy certificate programs in 2022.
