Robyn Bass is a distinguished leader in the event and hospitality industry, with over 30 years of experience in various facets such as transportation logistics, restaurant and venue management, and destination management sales and operations. As the CEO and President of Aline Services, a consulting and event management company, she is deeply committed to leadership development, strategic planning, company culture, and organizational growth for hospitality businesses and their growing teams.
With a passion for creating exceptional experiences, Robyn founded Maple Ridge Events, a premiere Destination Management Company (DMC) and certified woman-owned enterprise. She has also established herself as a versatile entrepreneur, owning and operating Cedar Ridge Nashville, a short-term rental and retreat location in Joelton, Tennessee, feeding her passion for hospitality.
Throughout her career, Robyn has been an active advocate and thought leader for the travel and hospitality industry. She has served on the Hosts Global Member Advisory Board, the board of directors for the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI), and as a past president of Meeting Professional International’s Tennessee Chapter (MPITN). Robyn’s industry accolades include the Hosts Global Host Honors Leadership Award (2017), two-time Hosts Global “DMC of the Year” recipient, Women of Influence (2019), and a Top 25 Woman-Owned Business (2017-2019) by the Nashville Business Journal. Maple Ridge Events was also named Best Places to Work (2018-2020) and Small Business of the Year (2018-2019) by the NBJ.
A former member of the prestigious Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), Robyn was recently recognized as the 2022 Meeting Professional International’s (MPI) Tennessee Chapter’s “Meeting Planner of the Year.” She teaches the MPI Tennessee Leadership Academy and serves as faculty for the Belmont University Meeting & Event Certificate Program, specializing in Site Selection & Meeting Planning Basics.
