Industry veteran and serial entrepreneur Rod Abraham is the founder and managing director of the Rod Abraham Group, providing management and consulting services to the industry.
A Charter Member of MPI, in 2016 he came out of partial retirement to serve as Executive Director of SPIN, a network of senior-level meeting and event planners/managers. He announced his retirement (again) in July of 2017 but plans to remain active in the industry.
Rod is the founder and former chief executive of other successful meeting industry concerns, including PMPN - Professional Meeting Planners Network (now PlannerNet) which he sold in 2003. Named one of the meeting industry's 25 Most Influential by Meeting News, Abraham has been an advisor to industry groups and has served in numerous leadership positions locally, nationally and internationally.
