He began his career planning meetings and events for a university in Rhode Island and then moved into association management running two dues paying alumni associations. More recently, he worked for Meeting Professionals International (MPI) as the Manager of Member Engagement where he helped streamline and personalize the global organizations communication to members. He developed the onboarding timeline for all new members to help engage them from their first day. In 2015, he created and launched a series of webinars to help train chapter leaders on recruitment and retention strategies. Also that year he partnered with the Event Industry Council (EIC) to develop a webinar to help MPI members worldwide better understand the path to obtaining their CMP. In 2016 he became the Chapter Business Manager for the East region. In this role he was responsible for the management and success of 21 of MPI’s 90 chapters and clubs worldwide. In 2017 he began working for DallasHR, an affiliate Chapter of SHRM. In this position he is responsible for the overall strategic growth and engagement of the Chapter and was primarily responsible for member engagement, sponsor/advertising sales, and strategic planning.
In 2023 he rejoined the MPI community as Director of Chapter Operations where he is responsible for the strategic growth and engagement of the organizations worldwide chapter structure.
