Marianne Claire Bacani is an Events Director at Neuroethics Canada at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she manages meetings and outreach events allowing an interdisciplinary group of researchers to share the latest on brain science and its social, legal and ethical implications with both the academic and public community.
Bringing her passion for community engagement, she actively volunteers for local non-profit organizations who promote the performing arts, literacy, citizenship, and awareness of various health issues in the community.
Marianne aspires to be a great leader and to have a career in management where she enjoys collaborating with groups, managing bigger events, handling more responsibilities, and working more closely with non-profit organizations.
