My name is Cherry Kay Abel, and I am a true Texan, born and raised in Austin, what a place to call home. When I decided to join the Meeting Planning industry I knew that it would be a great fit, my love for people and servicing others.
I graduated from Concordia University in Austin in 1996 in Business Management and being an entrepreneur I decided to run my own software business, then dabbled in the sales world with Prudential and became one of the top sellers. A few years later I was introduced into the wonderful world of Meeting Planning. Wow, I was so amazed, I didn't know how much fun I would have.
Then I joined MPI and the rest is history. It has became my passion and serving on the board of our local chapter is just the beginning.
