Steven G. Foster, CMP, CTA, is Managing Partner of Foster+Fathom, a Leadership Training and Team-Building Group in Dallas, TX. An award-winning speaker and writer, Steven has collaborated with some of the most recognized organizations in the world, including the National Football League, Major League Baseball and FOX Sports;and was profiled by CNN/Fortune as a Small Business Success in 2010.
Steven’s leadership principle is simple; “Your outlook always determines your outcome, so go “Full-Throttle.” That’s no surprise, considering he also is a Harley-Davidson LIFE member who in 2013 completed a 32, day, 34-state, 13,000-mile solo motorcycle ride along the perimeter of the US to raise awareness and support for America’s military; a journey he is chronicling in a new book project, “Full-Throttle Leadership: Passion, Power & Purpose.”
Inducted into the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Community of Honorees in 2009, Steven also is an MPI-recommended facilitator. A Past-Chair of the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management Advisory Board at Richland College in Dallas, TX; he has served on the boards of both the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Hotel Association of Tarrant County; and was a member of the 2011 North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee.
Steven currently serves as an Ambassador for The Boot Campaign, a national veteran’s charity.
Always a trailblazer, in 2000 Steven and his wife/business partner, Wendy became the first married couple to earn the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
